(More customer reviews)I take the Plum Balls everyday and I can really tell the difference when I don't take it.
Main thing I notice is that I don't feel as tired.
It's supposedly has other benefits but I don't know if all those benefits are working on me or not, but one thing for sure is I recover from fatigue, and even exercise, a lot quicker.
One time I got a bad case of food poisoning and was thinking of going to the doctor but I remembered how the Plum extract is good for purifying blood so I took a bunch of it with a ton of water, and felt a lot better after 30 minutes or so.
Overall, I recommend the product to everyone and my whole family is taking them.

I have worked in a large hospital for over 30 years and at first was swayed by what doctors told me about "The Weight Loss Cure" so I paid no attention to it. My sister had given me the book for Christmas and I ended up reading it and in the course of 16 months I lost 240 pounds and am FINALLY at a normal body mass index and totally healthy from head to toe. You have to realize that doctors, especially in the mainstream, don't WANT you to do anything but what "they" claim is best for you. However, it has been my experience that a large number of physicians are arrogant and greedy and have very tiny little closed minds outside of the scope of their general field of practice. My own physician told me I would be an idiot to read this book and use it to lose weight. However, here I am today, 240 pounds lighter, have passed a full physical including blood work, passed a full cardiology workup including treadmill test, and have come out clean as a whistle with full resolution of hypertension and prediabetic status.
Needless to say, I fired my doctor and established with one who has an open mind and works with me based on MY decisions, not vice versa!

As the product description states, it is made from a potato extract that works to creates feelings of satiety so you eat less. After trying it before a few meals, I have to say that it definitely works!
The directions state to take one pill about 60 minutes before your two largest meals, with a full glass of water. Through some experimentation, I found that taking the supplement a full one hour before meals really does work best; if I wait and take it 30 minutes or less before eating, I don't notice that I eat considerably less. So if you decide to take this, be sure to leave yourself that one-hour window beforehand!
Another bonus about this product is that it doesn't contain fiber. When I was briefly following the meal plan featured in the book _Women's Health Perfect Body Diet_, the plan's author recommended taking a fiber supplement that left me feeling bloated. The Slendesta tablets do not have this same effect.
The only reason I knocked off one star is because the price seems to be high. I will also try to update my review after using these a bit longer to see what the longer-term effects are.

They're best ice cold although the instructions say not to freeze them, so I stick a cold one from the fridge in to the freezer for just a few minutes as soon as I get home, and by the time I've changed out of my sweaty work-out clothes, it's really ice cold without actually being frozen.
160 calories - 30 from fat; total fat 3 grams; 5 grams carbs; 1 gram sugar; 3 grams fiber; 30 grams protein; 330 mg sodium; 680 mg potassium; no high fructose corn syrup. However, FYI, this does contain some calcium caseinate just in case you are not in favor of using calcium caseinate as a protein source.
I buy the chocolate flavor which is quite yummy, not artificial tasting and tastes like thick, chocolate milk - especially when ice cold as mentioned above. I've never tried any other flavors except the chocolate.
This price and shipping seem very expensive, but I buy them at one of the membership big-box warehouse type places (that begins with the letter "C") for a much better and more reasonable price.

The price is very comparable as you will note that Swanson's is only a ONE pound container, whereas Kirkman's is 2 lbs, so it is only $2 more per pound...very reasonable for the lower fat content which brings it in line with nutritional values for chicken breast on the Protocol.
Otherwise, if you are not concerned with fat content as one must be on the Protocol, this is a way to save a couple bucks. I prefer Hemp Protein Powder when not concerned with fat content, however, as it has a more nutritious all around profile and a lovely, nutty flavor that enhances recipes. Not only did this help me feel really energized throughout the day, it also helped my Husband too. I find that if I stand on the scale the same way each time without shifting my weight from one measurement to the next provides the greatest degree of consistency. This is a small scale and the average adult foot is going to hang over the edge a bit but I have not found this to be a problem and I appreciate the small footprint it takes in the bathroom.

(More customer reviews)I am fat, but I'm currently trying to change that. Not being a body builder I wondered if this product was for me, and I was very happy with the results. I keep these with me on days that I can't prepare a meal or when I am tired of my diet food and want something that has a little more hearty flavor. Caveat is: just like turkey-jerky, if you didn't know you were eating ostrich you might think that it tastes a bit different. Keep in mind that ostrich tastes more like chicken than beef.
The Good:
Compact (will fit in cargo pocket)
Tasty
Fairly low salt
Semi-Moist (good or bad depending on your taste)
80 calories
Great for diets
The Bad:
Hard to open sometimes
A bit large to fit in pocket (won't fit in standard pants pocket)
Co-workers think you are weird to eat Ostrich
A little expensive
So, with all that said, I keep a box of these in my cupboard at all times just in case I need a snack and I don't want to go off-diet. Buy a box and see what you think.

(More customer reviews)I'm a snack food junkie, especially for anything chocolate. Last year I was on NutriSystem and I was able to lose 25 lbs.; however, as soon as I went back to eating regular grocery store-bought food, I gained it all back.
A month ago I saw a commercial on TV for the Fullbar. I didn't want to order directly from Fullbar (more costly) so I got a couple Fullbar samples from a drugstore (cocoa and peanut butter).
These remind me a lot of Rice Krispy Treats. They are fairly large in size for a diet bar. The peanut butter was ok, and I would probably buy this flavor again if I get tired of the cocoa flavored bars. They appear to be puffed wheat bars blended with some other ingredients. I tried making my own using a Rice Krispy treat recipe but they just were not the same. It must be some missing secret ingredient that causes these to work because when I tried making my own I was just as hungry as I normally would be.
Yes, they are kind of expensive but you will be buying a lot less "other" food and they are way cheaper than NutriSystem would be. Plus I get to eat regular grocery store food so I don't feel like I am missing out, so there are no temptations.
I eat two Fullbars a day. One 30 minutes before lunch and also 30 minutes before dinner, each with a full glass of water. You still eat a regular meal, but much less than without eating the Fullbar. In fact, I almost force myself to eat I feel so stuffed. In two weeks of doing this, I have lost over 10 lbs.
