(More customer reviews)I have been taking this product for 7 weeks now and have NO IMPROVEMENT in my weight or in my energy in fact, I have gained 4 pounds while using it. I gave it a strong try but feel like I really wasted my money. Once the bottle is open, you are screwed out of your money and you can't return it. I am through experimenting and will stick with a different brand that I know works. I have tried several Acai products that have gotten me good results but this is NOT one of them. The pills smelled kind of odd as well. I dont believe the other reviews here because this product DOES NOT WORK!

I followed the directions starting my day off with the Super Defense Food which didn't taste bad at all. I mixed it with V8 V-Fusion and it reminded me of the "Green Machine" bottled drink. I took the packet of pills (4 HUGE pills) with breakfast and lunch as directed and drank a lot of water. I had to stop this cleanse after 4 days because I found that I had to use the restroom about every 20 minutes. I started on a Saturday, so at home was it was a minor annoyance, but bearable. The problem came at work. I could not sit through a full meeting and I could not concentrate on my work because I had to get up and use the bathroom so often! To the product's credit, just after the 4 days, I did find that I was starting to eat less and feel a little less sluggish. I'm sure the full 7 days would've yielded better results; I gave this 3 stars due to the bathroom issue.

I did increase my exercise but I had plauteaued and this moved me past that. I then decided to try and colon cleanse/fat burning combination. I've lose 3 lbs in as many days and truly feel like my body is cleansing itself. The fat burning pills have a bit too much caffiene in them for my liking (I hardly ever use caffeine) so I'm going to cut the dose in 1/2 on those. I'm 45 years old. I'm not over weight, but have about 10 or so pounds I want to get off at this point. It can be very hard to lose weight when you dont' have a lot to lose and are middle aged---Acai Berry has worked for me when nothing else did.

My husband did not like the chocolate at all -- so he stuck to the vanilla. We did not buy ours at Amazon.com, but through our neighbor who just brought it in to the health club where she works. We got some great instructions, a time line for when you drink/eat/snack with little check boxes. Very helpful. It was challenging at points -- the hardest thing was making food for the children. I also had to limit my outings with the kids so that we were not around food. I must say, the 11 days (I did the optional two day 'pre-cleanse') were very calm.
My husband lost 12 pounds, I lost six. Best wishes if you try it!

In the box they provide additional capsules to take if you feel like you aren't moving like you should. Maybe in 2007, these weren't included ...but today, constipation from this cleanse shouldn't be an issue. The first week I felt lousy ..headache, achy, tired ..all symptoms of a cleanse doing it's job. Each day now I feel better and better.

I followed the instructions and was cleansed quickly. There was one trick that I had to implement and that was with the fiber powder. It takes a higher solubility than cool tap water. I made the water 120 F and it disolved while stiring. Drink a lot of water and avoid orange juice or oranges because it intinsifies the cleanse... if you get what I mean. Day three you may want to occur over the weekend. Good product best of luck.

One tea bag is enough to do the trick, and works every time, so follow the instructions properly and resist the temptation to use more than one.
The taste may not be great but is not unpleasant and will grow on you with time. The tea loses a star because you may get some stomach cramps as it starts to work (some people reportedly don't), but then the tea will live up to its gentle name when you get your easy and painless bowel movement. As reported by other reviewers, steeping for less than 15 minutes may reduce the cramping. Some people have got it to work after seeping the tea bag for only 10 minutes so experiment and see what works best for you.
I see that for some reason, when taken during the day, it is not as efficient and often doesn not work as expected. This tea alone works very well, but if you drink plenty of water throughout the day (even when you don't have the tea) and add more fiber to your diet, besides working like a charm it will even help you become more regular on your own.
Take this tea if you are backed up and feel bloated, ou will feel reliefed and sleep much better after being cleansed by Smooth Move. It is a natural product but I recommend it for occasional use only as ingestion of senna over extended periods of time may be prejudicial.

Other brands that use variations on a caprylic acid formula never worked quite as well. (More customer reviews)Two weeks before my scheduled colonoscopy, I started a routine of lowering my normal food intake and beginning the colon cleansing with this product in hopes that the final cleansing on the day before the procedure would be easier.
To my pleasant surprise, in contrast to my expectation of some gut discomfort or even distress typical of over-the-counter laxatives, this product produced no discomfort whatsoever--not on the first day or any day thereafter. The morning following my first application proved the gentle efficacy of the product.
I continued taking Colon-X capsules till two days before my scheduled colonoscopy when I began the physician's orders for other products.
For those of you facing this procedure, I recommend your "easing" into it by starting these capsules, then following your physician's orders. The dreaded day before the colonoscopy will become less dreaded and easier on your system if you do. I hope you have the successful results I did.
____FOLLOWUP COMMENT:
My colonoscopy was so easy because of the efficacy of this plus other preps the physician ordered. In fact, I asked for a minimum of anesthesia and actually watched the last half of the procedure on the screen. Because I was not heavily sedated, I joked with the staff I was ready for a game of tennis--and, actually, I think I could have played a set right then. Instead, I returned to work that afternoon.
I hope my comments relieve you of some of the anxiety normal with pre-op procedures and the colonoscopy itself. Following all pre-op directions is crucial for your success!
