(More customer reviews)If you are feeling backed up and need to get things moving, an 8oz cup of this tea taken before going to bed, steeped for a maximum of 15 minutes, will give you the expected results the following morning. One tea bag is enough to do the trick, and works every time, so follow the instructions properly and resist the temptation to use more than one.
The taste may not be great but is not unpleasant and will grow on you with time. The tea loses a star because you may get some stomach cramps as it starts to work (some people reportedly don't), but then the tea will live up to its gentle name when you get your easy and painless bowel movement. As reported by other reviewers, steeping for less than 15 minutes may reduce the cramping. Some people have got it to work after seeping the tea bag for only 10 minutes so experiment and see what works best for you.
I see that for some reason, when taken during the day, it is not as efficient and often doesn not work as expected. This tea alone works very well, but if you drink plenty of water throughout the day (even when you don't have the tea) and add more fiber to your diet, besides working like a charm it will even help you become more regular on your own.
Take this tea if you are backed up and feel bloated, ou will feel reliefed and sleep much better after being cleansed by Smooth Move. It is a natural product but I recommend it for occasional use only as ingestion of senna over extended periods of time may be prejudicial.

However, because a friend told me to try it, I decided to give it a shot. It works amazingly! It really does help the bowel move smoothly and effectively. I was worried that it might be uncontrollable, but that was not the case at all. I could go on throughout the day without having to worry about going to the bathroom at unexpected times. I recommend this product to everyone! Whether you're looking to lose weight, fight constipation, or you just want more fiber in your diet, Colonite is wonderful! (More customer reviews)I've dealt with IBS for over 8 years. When it had gotten so bad I couldn't leave the house anymore, I decided enough was enough. I did a search for IBS and found Heather's website. I ordered the Acacia (Tummy Fiber) right away, then later the books. The fiber is wonderful! It doesn't get gritty, and you can add it to soft foods as well, like applesauce. There is NO taste or texture to it at all, as is it completely soluble. Just make sure you put the fiber in a glass first, then add the liquid, stirring with a fork. If for some reason it doesn't mix all the way, which is rare, just let it sit for a few minutes. I also have been on the diet, and am using her peppermint capsules. And now, I CAN LEAVE THE HOUSE!!! I can venture away from the bathroom like a normal person. I have my life back.
And the Acacia helps all three types of IBS. I just wish I would had found it sooner.
It also ships quickly, just one more plus. I can't say enough good things about Heather and her products. I'm ordering more right now. Give it a try, don't let IBS hold you hostage anymore. You won't regret trying the Acacia.

I deal with a lot of high pressure in my line of work and don't always eat perfectly and even when I do I have issues because of the high stress in front me at times. You must know that taking a scoop here and there every day(I use a 5 gram scoop that I saved from another supplement that I use but a teaspoon will do)will not cause you to loose control of your bowels. The best way to use this is to work yourself up from a teaspoon a day until you get to a comfortable dose. Some people will find 1 does a day will help them but others may require more.
People who do not eat much fiber can be "leaving waste behind" even though they may evacuate daily. OK, this is not the most pleasant subject to discuss out in the open, this "poopie talk", but everyone must learn that it is a very serious topic when it comes to over all health. If you do not "clean your pipes" daily, so to speak, waste material can sit and slowly build up in your system. This waste can cause many side effects as it slowly "rots" in the body. People who do not evacuate regularly or only partially, may be dealing with problems that would otherwise subside if they would only go to the bathroom daily. Waste left rotting in our bodies can make us feel lethargic, irritable, bloated/full, and some abdominal pain so sharp that you would never assume is was just a "stuck poop". It also can make you hold water or possibly make your skin tone change I have read.
I would suggest this product, to supplement, not replace, a diet of high fiber foods.
PS: I get my nickname from being a tan bald guy with muscles, but it is ironic that I use this product and that I do "go" regularly so the name has a dual meaning here!

(More customer reviews)I would like to like this product, it always seem to have really high reviews everywhere, and I can get it at trusty and cheap ol' Trader Joes (grocery store). But unfortunately I cannot take it cause after 1-2 days I can't keep anything solid in my body. It contains something called Senna which works as a natural laxative. The dosage is pretty high, 4 capsules 3 times a day. I have tried taking half of that and it was still too potent. I think I might try their regular colon cleanse product which only contains Psyllium powder.
