(More customer reviews)Not impressed at all - First my disclaimer: In the interest of full disclosure, I have to say I joined the Usana team for $20 as an associate because I was looking for vitamins and I thought I could get credit for buying from myself. Also, (in the interest of full disclosure), from my research, I did not feel comfortable with all business practices but I couldn't find anything negative about the products (except cost).

The taste is adequate and the vitamins and nutrients are also adequate. However the little amount you get for the price makes it a pass for me. I'm taking a sufficient amount of vitamins and nutrients from their product line, so I don't need to take it for that reason. I was thinking this product would help me with my weight loss goals since it's a meal replacement but when I weigh the pros and cons, I'm better off finding something at the health food store. You're supposed to use 3 scoops (it's now in a pouch rather than the can) and with just one meal being replaced a day, it was gone in about a week.

(More customer reviews)I am a skinny marathon runner, and I don't gain muscle mass easily. An injury curtailed my running, so I decided to rework my fitness regimen to focus on weightlifting. I bought CellTech at the recommendation of a friend and tried it for 8 weeks, following the directions exactly.
The first thing I noticed was the foul taste of the CellTech. I choked down the Grape flavor twice a day for 5 days (the "loading" phase), and then switched to a once-daily serving of the Fruit Punch flavor, which is more palatable. It still has a sickly sweet chemical flavor, a somewhat gritty texture, and a strong vile aftertaste. Twice I drank the CellTech too quickly and vomited it up.
I lifted three times a week, with an upper/lower body split. A typical workout was 5 exercises: 5 sets each of 2 compound exercises, and 3 sets each of 3 isolation exercises. The last set of each exercise was done to failure. I also consumed 30 grams of whey protein drink twice per day.
I am mostly pleased with the results. I noticed I was recovering faster between workouts than I expected. I had greater stamina, and my muscles felt "pumped up" during each workout. I increased my 10-rep bench press weight 40 pounds, and my 10-rep squat weight by 55 pounds. I gained about 10 pounds, and most of it appears to be muscle. My body looks more muscular, and others have commented on it. I also gained a small amount of body fat. I believe this is because CellTech contains as much pure sugar as 2 cans of Coke.
I experienced constipation and dehydration from this product, as well as occasional nausea, despite drinking a gallon of water per day.
It does have a measurable effect on bodybuilding performance. However, I think only dedicated bodybuilders and well-disciplined dabblers will be able to stick with the recommended 8-week usage pattern. You may be able to get a lot of the same benefits with a much less expensive and tasteless creatine powder.

This mandarin orange stuff tasted horrible to me, not sure if I got a bad batch or what but it was awful. The fruit punch is still good however, and seemed to be effective in terms of gaining muscle mass and improving muscle recovery though it needs some time to kick in. I can't comment on the quality of this mandarin orange variety, I'd assume its just as good but the flavor is terrible.

I called up DAB Nutrition and they claimed they didn't have any Ultra Peptide 1.0 in their warehouse and that they needed to change the picture on the website, because they only had Ultra Peptide 2.0 in stock. This was about a month ago and the picture on the website remains the same lol. My point exactly. Like I said before this is a great product just a bad retailer who sold me it. I will no longer be conducting business with DAB Nutrition. I'll stick to my original retailer who has always been reliable for me with $5 flat free shipping and my order arrives in 2 business days from the time it's shipped out. On days when I don't feel like working out, thinking about the chocolate 2:1:1 makes me hit the gym. Once there, I make sure my workout is a strong one where I'm pushing to new personal bests. Afterward, I immediately take my 2:1:1 recovery with my multi. Absolutely worth it, and I make sure I get the last drop.
The only other protein shake that I've found that tastes as good is Champion Nutrition Pure Whey Protein Stack (though Optimum Nutrition's Nitro Core 24 Cinnamon Roll flavor is tasty as well once you get used to it).
As for the recovery, I make sure I don't finish a workout without my recovery shake. I've found conclusively that I feel really sore, with the soreness lingering longer than it should, when I don't have a recovery shake. My first recovery shake was Champion Pro Score 100 stacked with Met 2 (so I could get the 2:1 ratio of carbs to protein), and 2:1:1 gives the same results, but for a cheaper price.
I'm on probably my 4th bottle of 2:1:1 and will be buying more when I'm near the point of running out.

(More customer reviews)I have used couple of creatine powders, some pure and some blends but this one exceeds all. Creatine monohydrate is giving me desired results and I am very happy with it. I was unsure earlier about bloating as I had some experience with few other creatine powders i used but this one is just perfect, no bloating at all.
I workout 3 times a week, every alternate day and I made sure i followed the creatine cycle and started with the loading phase and here I am, gained 9 lbs of muscles, not on my tummy though, lol. I am actually surprised to see myself in mirror these days, i see a definite change and i am very happy with it. I have already completed 2 cycles with this product and right now taking a break of 4 weeks before i start the third cycle of 6 weeks.
I am not high on it, I take around 3-4 gms before workout with grape juice and 3-4 gms post workout with protein shake. it worked for me so far :)
One important thing to note, I am drinking at least 9-10 glasses of water everyday, just to make sure i keep myself hydrated and to keep the water intake more thn 80 Oz a day.
Though there are no significant evidences but its not recommended to take creatine with orange juice or anything with citric acid as it wont help as much and will be waste, i will not go deep into scientific theory behind this, google it if anyone wishes to know more about it.
bottom line- Fast recovery, keeps me active all day, no bloating and great gains if taken in a proper way and yes with a good workout.

To me it is almost the perfect work-out / weight-lifting / energy / muscle-gaining drink. It has a great amount/ratio of carbs (85g ... only 5g in sugars), protein (60g .. several types), vitamins/minerals (usually only 20%-35% RDA ... some drinks put in 100% in many areas but I want to use a multi-vitamin, GNC Mega Men, instead), and taste (I have enjoyed my favorite banana, strawberry, and vanilla). It also has low sodium (15% RDA) and cholesterol (20% RDA) relative to many other drinks I saw, which are quite high in these areas ... beware. I don't drink it every day, just usually about half a serving before a workout and half after. That gives me enough carbs/energy to enjoy the workout and then protein after for good/reasonable muscle growth, all the while staying low in body-fat. It easily mixes with lowfat milk or soy milk, and tastes good with both. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
