First off I have to say that I am no longer a believer that 7-KETO DHEA actually does anything measurable to the body. For some believers it can possibly be a powerful placebo that keeps them motivated in the exercise and weight loss endeavors but I have given up after shelling out for 3 months.
I started a regimen to work out regularly (3 x a week) and change my diet to be smaller portions and leaner food etc etc.
Having read up on 7-KETO claims of speeding up metabolism I expected measurable impact. Perhaps more energy. None of that. The pills are expensive and you have to apparently take a minimum of 200 mg a day, which I did (one bottle each month of 60 vcaps) but I didn't experience any impact. My weight came down with a steady 10 lbs a month for the last 3 months (yes, lost a cool 30 lbs) but that is nothing other than expected: 2.5lbs a week on avg for someone on a leaner diet and doing more exercize (burning an additional 3000 calories a week).
Also the energy-boost that some claim to experience isn't really there.
However, that should not stop me from reviewing the particular brand and bottle of 7-KETO with 4 stars:
- You get 30 days of 200mg Vegetable caps. That is the minimum amount to have impact so compare bottles by doing a PRICE divided by TOTAL MG in the bottle and you will find that this is one of the cheapest out there.
- I did deduct a star for the amount of fillers in the cap and the fact that they simply do not avoid those bad fillers by doing a 200 mg cap.
Again, I stopped using 7-KETO after 3 months with no real noticeable benefit attributable to this DHEA but for as long as I did use the product I ordered this brand as it is the cheapest per MG I could find.
I assume that if you are here looking at this you might have heard about the product and its perceived benefits. I would say that it is probably worth trying once and see if you experience metabolism/energy pickup or other benefits and if not walk away from it. There are too many people out there claiming it works to bluntly state here it does not: it did not FOR ME.
