(More customer reviews)Smart for life is more of a meal replacement plan but it works! It is really easy once you get used to how it works, and tailor it to your personal liking. The plan I received came with chocolate cookies, oatmeal cookies, chocolate and vanilla shakes, tomato and chicken soups, and a sample bagel chips.
My first two days were a transition period. The first day, I was starving and my mind was crazy with what i could not have so I had a regular dinner and desert. That made it easy for me to do it right the next day and forward.
I found that I do not love the cookies - some said heat them, some said freeze them... anyway I put it, I just do not love them. However, they are *not* inedible and boy they are filling! I drink them WITH 16oz of water or stevia sweetened zero calorie drinks and they are fine. (I will probably continue to buy them when I am maintaining for a easy way to fill up when my appetite gets out of control).
I find that I can do the shake in the morning (with coffee instead of water), snack on a 1/2 cup of approved veggies, then soup and veg for lunch, a cookie in between, a bagel snacks for a crunchy salted option, a healthy dinner, and a cookie at the end. Often times, I find I am too full for that last cookie.
The program works,but there IS an adjustment period. The program looses weight quick AND it teaches you how and what to eat all the while. They teach a gentle transition and has had a lot of success! Read the review on Costco! I cannot wait to be one of them!
